It will not train you through a red flag
Ask for the hard session anyway and it will say no and tell you why. Elevated resting heart rate, a fortnight of climbing load, a niggle you mentioned last week — the ceiling holds whatever you request.

Today’s decision is the part you talk to. Behind it sits the plan it belongs to — every session between here and race day, and what each one is for. Have a look around.

Week 6 of 14 · base
load 393 / 400
Was VO₂ intervals. Your resting HR was up six beats and you slept under six and a half hours, so the session moved to Saturday.
A coach that agrees with everything is not a coach. Ask a language model to write your week and it will happily invent one; here a physiology engine works out what today can actually ask of you, and the coach only chooses inside that. The conversation can change your session. It cannot change what is safe.
The model may move down inside the band. It has no mechanism to move the ceiling up.
Ask for the hard session anyway and it will say no and tell you why. Elevated resting heart rate, a fortnight of climbing load, a niggle you mentioned last week — the ceiling holds whatever you request.
Activities that reach us second-hand through Strava count toward your load and stay visible to you, and are machine-excluded from model inference and every persistent index.
Each session carries the reasoning and the numbers behind it. Ask why, say it felt wrong, move it a day — the plan changes and tells you what it traded away.
